The Douglas County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a measure Tuesday allocating $500,000 in funding to expand youth mental health services across the county. The initiative aims to address the growing need for accessible and affordable mental healthcare for children and adolescents in the Omaha metro area. The funding will be distributed among several local organizations that specialize in youth mental health, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, the YMCA of Greater Omah
